Behind the Canape

In the aftermath of the Women, Life, Freedom protests in Iran, a therapist’s office becomes a sanctuary for survivors of arrest, torture and sexual violence. Unbeknownst to them, one patient is a secret police officer tormented by guilt, whose confessions threaten the fragile possibility of healing.
